The Pastor teaches a one week class called Discovering Belmont. This class is essential if you are thinking about joining our church. We highly recommend all guests of our church attend this class before they join the church. In Discovering Belmont you will learn everything about our church you need to know to make an informed decision about membership. Discovering Belmont begins at 9:45 a.m. and is located in The Spot. This class is offered at various times during the year.
What do you study in Sunday School?
Most of our classes are involved in direct Bible
study by taking a portion of scripture and
discovering its daily applications for us throughout the week. In the near future we will be offering some short-term studies that are designed to meet very specific needs during unique seasons of life. These classes will cover topics such as preparing for marriage, building a better marriage, parenting skills, new believers, etc.
How long does Sunday School last?
From start to finish, Bible study lasts about an hour. Within that time period, there’'s opportunity for refreshments, fellowship, and prayer.
What do I do with my kids?
We have a high energy and dynamic Sunday School experience for your children and teenagers. They will enjoy topics designed to meet the issues they face at their stage of life. We have a state of-the-art building for our children and teenagers.
What if I don't know anything about the Bible?
You don’'t have to! You won'’t have to read anything, find anything, quote anything, or discuss anything if you don'’t feel comfortable doing so. Sunday School is one of the best places to learn about the Bible.
Do you offer couples classes or separate men's and women's classes?
The vast majority of our classes are separate men's and women's classes, but we also offer 3 couples’ classes based on the wife's age .
Is Sunday School Important?
Sunday School is one of the best ways for us to reach
people, teach people, and involve people. Therefore,
we have given our highest priority and best energies to building a strong Sunday School. If the Sunday School is strong, the church will be strong.
How do I find a class?
Simply stop by the Welcome Center located in building A or see a Welcome Team Member, and they will personally escort you there!
